** Includes verbal tributes and Musical tributes by a host of prominent oboists and students of John Mack. Even though the concert and recording are now four years in the past it is yet today a real treasure in my library. I remember leaving that concert not feeling that I had listened to a lot of oboe playing, but knowing that I had heard some of the most beautiful music ever played in Severance Hall! I now enjoy it over and over and over. You mayalso enjoy it!
