The Old Homestead Bed and Breakfast

How To Find
The Old Homestead
Bed & Breakfast

Vermont MapThe Old Homestead is the perfect place from which to explore our beautiful state. Enjoy incredible natural beauty in all four seasons. Burke and Cannon Mountain ski areas are each a half hour away, or you can snow shoe right outside our door. Access miles of cross country trails nearby, which turn into class A mountain bike trails in summer and fall.

Visit museums and arts in St. Johnsbury, or the state capital in Montpelier. Two Buddhist retreat centers in Barnet, Karme Choling and Milarepa, will welcome you. Swim in near by Harvey's Lake or in Joes Brook. Leaf-peeping in fall, but natural beauty in all seasons await your visit, as well as unique shopping, antiquing, superb dinning and arts for any style or budget.

We'll be happy to suggest our favorite haunts, restaurants, and activities.
